4 Key IT Sectors To See Major ‘Cloud Shift’

More than $111 billion in IT spending has shifted to the cloud and that amount will increase to $216 billion in four years, according to just-released report from Gartner. The research house looked at four key tech sector – business process outsourcing, application software, applications infrastructure software and systems infrastructure – to gauge the pace of cloud migration between now and 2020. What follows is Gartner’s projections for each segment.
