New engagement models emerge for custom software outsourcing
The purchase of Whole Foods by Amazon, and more recently, the proposed purchase of Aetna by CVS, are creating an imperative for all businesses to digitally transform.
In my report on new engagement models, I capture and report on new and creative ways that AD&D leaders are working with custom software development partners to transform their application architectures and delivery processes to meet these new challenges, quickly.
These AD&D leaders have decided their applications are too important to outsource, yet don’t have the resource skills or headcount in house to execute on their ambitions, and don’t have time to hire or train either. For them, they need the right balance of talent (e.g. cloud architects), technological expertise (e.g. DevOps please), and team fit to help provide a blended approach to digital transformation that can help them modernize their “airplane” while it’s still in flight.
