(Bloomberg News) -- Yahoo! Inc. said it’s promoting Laurie Mann to chief information officer, replacing Mike Kail, who is stepping down after less than a year on the job.
Replacing Mann is Enrique Munoz Torres, who has been promoted to senior vice president of product and engineering, overseeing search, the company said in an e-mailed statement Tuesday.
Chief Executive Officer Marissa Mayer is trying to drive a turnaround at the company, which has struggled to add users to woo advertisers. Kail’s departure is the latest in a series of management shakeups.
Kail’s exit was earlier reported by the Wall Street Journal.
