The Royal Dutch/Shell Group is giving IBM $100 million and five years to have Big Blue build its storage area networking and e-business management infrastructure. The deal, one of the biggest SAN contracts signed so far this year, calls for IBM and Shell to consolidate various international information technology hubs into three centralized locations called MegaCentre.
The first MegaCentre hubs will be located in Kuala Lumpur, The Hague, and Houston.
