When building CRM applications into their data warehousing platforms, most companies aren’t keeping the effort strictly internal. In fact, according to a new study from The Data Warehousing Institute, two-thirds of all companies polled favor building CRM platforms by “integrating best-of-breed tools.”
Two-thirds of respondents (65 percent) are taking this approach, while 18 percent are "starting from scratch using in-house tools" and 16 percent are "purchasing all-in-one CRM packages."
