Question: What is a junk dimension? Is that similar to a conformed dimension?
Chuck Kelley's Answer: Here is a discussion on DMReview.com on junk dimensions (http://www.dmreview.com/article_sub.cfm?articleId=1027074). Should that be a conformed dimension? I would say "Yes" if it was used in more than one data mart. But then, that is basically the definition of a conformed dimension.
