Sid Adelman's Answer: You still need a project manager responsible each of the 90 - 120 day projects. This project manager should have the following people reporting to him or her:

  1. DBA for database design, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring and tuning.
  2. Data administration for data modeling and metadata administration.
  3. Data quality administrator for profiling the source data and dealing with data quality issues.
  4. ETL jockeys
  5. Query tool administrators to support the users and to administer the query and report library
