Visualize, Inc., a leading provider of visual intelligence software, and Insightful Corporation, a provider of software solutions for analysis of numeric and text data, announced this week a joint marketing agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Visualize and Insightful will co-market their software in the life science and financial services industry.

Visualize and Insightful share common core markets and many common customers in the life sciences and financial services industries. The initial marketing focus will be in applications such as genetic data analysis for life sciences research, and trading strategy development, investment research and scenario testing in the financial services industry. Improvements in decision-making across the enterprise can be made by deploying Web-based analytics using Insightful's S-PLUS Product Family and delivering the data and output of the analytics with Visualize web-based data visualization user interfaces.
