Unisys Corp. announced a SaaS version of its InfoImage enterprise content management offering. Separately, the company announced the availability of a new industry-specific InfoImage Mortgage Application that automates the processing and servicing of mortgage loans.

The new version of InfoImage provides a secure, cloud-based alternative to on-premise installation of an ECM application. It’s available via a monthly subscription model and allows companies to quickly implement ECM while reducing upfront capital investments and ongoing support costs, Unisys says.

Other potential benefits of the cloud-based ECM include convenient mobile access to critical documents and processes, enhanced collaboration with partners and improved availability of content across multi-site organizations.

InfoImage SaaS is hosted in Unisys data centers through the Unisys Secure Private Cloud Solution. Organizations also have the option of adding the Unisys Stealth offering to provide an extra layer of security protection for customer information and critical transactional data and content.

The new InfoImage mortgage application is available as a licensed or SaaS offering, designed to automate and streamline high-volume document workflow during the mortgage loan process, from origination to closing. The application allows loan officers to use their mobile devices to capture an applicant's documents, signature and other information.

"For organizations with high-volume document requirements, our InfoImage software suite provides a proven solution used by clients around the world,” Paul Barber, vice president of Unisys ECM Solutions, said in a statement. “And now with our software as a service option, those benefits are easier than ever to access."
