Allergan, a leading specialty pharmaceutical health care provider, is purchasing data quality applications from Trillium Software, a division of Harte-Hanks. Companies within the pharmaceutical industry are under a great deal of pressure - as are many other industries - to merge customer and business information from multiple sources, consolidate data for multiple brands and integrate disparate systems and organizational views of the customer. Allergan, which develops and commercializes products for the eye care pharmaceutical, ophthalmic surgical device, over-the-counter contact lens care, neurological and dermatological markets, is using Trillium Software System to standardize, deduplicate and integrate data from many sources including sales, customer and marketing data for inclusion into its data warehouse.
