Thomson Media Conferences & Exhibitions announced its first annual Business Intelligence Forum, to be held April 18-19, 2005 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, AZ.  The two-day Business Intelligence Forum will combine the editorial insight, market penetration and industry leadership of multiple Thomson Media publications to address best practices in business intelligence and analytics within several specific business sectors, including financial services and healthcare.

The Business Intelligence Forum, with up to seven separate tracks of targeted content, will deliver up-to-the-minute analysis and working knowledge to 400 senior executives in a hands-on, in-depth program. The conference will focus on real-world business applications of business intelligence strategies and solutions, within an analytic framework that includes operational results achieved, financial returns delivered, and competitive advantages gained.

The Business Intelligence Forum will coincide with the April 2005 launch of Thomson's new quarterly business intelligence publication and Web site, Business Intelligence ReviewBusiness Intelligence Review will be the single source of information for business decision makers engaged in business intelligence.  Business Intelligence Review will focus on providing actionable information on the strategic use of technology to make organizations more effective and responsive. Until now, there has no single publication or Web site that directly addresses the business intelligence media space for business decision makers. Business Intelligence Review will have an initial circulation of 118,000.

In addition, the Business Intelligence Forum will draw on the editorial resources of several other leading Thomson Media publications, including Data Management Review, Bank Technology News, Security Industry News, American Banker, U.S. Banker, Health Data Management, and Insurance Networking News.
