Although large majorities of Americans feel that privacy notices are important, most people also find them too long and complicated, according to a new consumer survey released by Harris Interactive today. The survey was sponsored by the Privacy Leadership Initiative, a coalition of businesses and affiliated organizations aimed at empowering consumers to control how their personal information is used and shared offline and online.
