The Greek gadfly Socrates often chided his Athenian students to challenge the status quo and question the world around them. Until his last day, this ultimate interlocutor advanced the mantra of wondering why and practicing the discipline of reasoning to find truth.

That spirit of constant query and analysis continues every day in organizations large and small as executives and practitioners alike examine the nature of their business, searching for answers. At TDWI, we foster a community of learning to facilitate that process and to help professionals round out their knowledge of the tools, technologies and methods available for harnessing the value of information.

Full Circle

TDWI offers a complement of services to provide our members and customers with a full circle of resources necessary to remain highly competitive in this ever-changing industry. Our services include:

Education: We host four weeklong conferences per year, each of which boasts 50 full-day and half-day courses as well as two keynotes, workshops, networking events and other functions. All are geared toward real-world application of the tools and technologies integral to information management. TDWI also hosts on-site and Web seminars that address these same mission-critical issues.

Research: TDWI issues numerous research reports every year that address salient industry issues such as performance dashboards, predictive analytics, data integration and data quality. These reports incorporate significant amounts of user-provided data (via broadly distributed surveys) as well as input from analysts, vendors and other industry experts.

Training: With our on-site program, TDWI provides in-depth instruction to groups ranging from a dozen professionals to hundreds. These customized training packages address very specific needs that cover the entire spectrum of data-oriented disciplines and technologies.

BI This Week, Case Studies and Solutions, What Works and other TDWI publications are designed for the express purpose of keeping our subscribers up to date on all significant industry developments.
