Cap Gemini Ernst & Young U.S. LLC (CGEY), one of the world's largest management and information technology consulting firms, has partnered with Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation, in the development of the CGEY Loyalty Factory offer. Both the Teradata warehouse and customer relationship management (CRM) solution will serve as the initial technical platform for this facility.

The CGEY Loyalty Factory facility is located in the company's Advanced Development Center in Chicago. Companies in the financial services, telecommunication, retail and consumer products industries have demonstrated early interest. CGEY's clients will be able to use their own data to "test drive" an enterprise analytical CRM solution without making the up-front investments in technology infrastructure and marketing process redesign.

Frequently, these enterprises have developed defined customer databases segmented by product or department, making it almost impossible to get a single view of the entire customer relationship, hindering critical activities around customer loyalty, acquisition and profitability. Utilizing Teradata's powerful data warehouse and CRM solution, CGEY will address the business challenges common in large, multidivision enterprises around these disparate sources of customer data.

With the CGEY Loyalty Factory, companies will be able to consolidate a segment of diverse customer data on a single platform, run advanced analytics to discover new insight, then design and execute marketing campaigns. Following successful completion of the trial, CGEY can perform a traditional installation within the client's enterprise or can outsource all or part of this marketing function to further accelerate business value realization.
