Data Junction Corporation, an integration solution provider, announced that TeleworX is using Data Junction technology as the embedded database integration component of JaX. JaX is a software tool that aids wireless transport engineers in their daily activities to design, optimize, provision and forecast changes in their wireless networks. TeleworX leverages Data Junction to create interfaces with their customers' corporate databases. These interfaces allow major wireless carriers to retrieve large volumes of data in shorter timeframes with increased data consistency checking. This allows carriers to increase their network cost savings while at the same time improving the data integrity of their corporate databases.

Using a graphical user interface (GUI) built on Data Junction solutions, TeleworX imports traffic routing data and equipment information from its customers' corporate databases. That information is then reformatted, checked for errors and imported into JaX. The entire process, which used to be done manually, is now automated, thereby producing significant time savings. Once this information is input into JaX, the tool then utilizes an advanced set of algorithms to automatically optimize network designs and provides routing alternatives by graphically displaying all nodes and connections via a GIS interface.

"The name of the game in the telecommunications industry is cost savings. The solution that we offer with Data Junction provides a vehicle for our customers to efficiently clean and integrate data from their corporate databases into JaX. This data is then used by our customers as a basis for determining the future fixed network design of their access network. In order for JaX to come up with the most cost effective design solution, timely access to valid data is essential. Data Junction allows us to provide both," said Keith Davies, director of software development at TeleworX.
