Telephone and Data Systems (TDS) has struck a deal to acquire hosted application and cloud specialist OneNeck IT Services for $95 million.

The companies jointly announced OneNeck of Scottsdale, Ariz., would join a hosted and managed services subsidiary of TDS, bolstering its cloud offerings. OneNeck had revenues of $37 million in 2010.

TDS, headquartered in Madison, Wisc., created its hosted and managed services division following its acquisition of Visi Inc. in March of 2010 and Team Technologies in December of 2010.

“Our strategy is to have a robust suite of offerings, including co-location, managed services, hosting, cloud and solutions delivery,” William Megan, president of TDS’s managed services division, said in a statement. “OneNeck brings sophisticated hosted applications management and managed hosting to our product portfolio that will enable us to leverage the data center assets recently acquired with Visi and Team.”

OneNeck operates 12,000 square feet of data center space in Arizona and has a partnership with Datapipe for data center space in Somerset, N.J. It employs 230 and specializes in offering a variety of enterprise applications on a hosted basis to clients. Its offerings include applications from Oracle, Baan, JD Edwards and Microsoft.

“Being a part of TDS will enhance our development of innovative cloud solutions and enable us to accelerate our overall growth strategies,” OneNeck founder and CEO Chuck Vermillion said in a statement.
