Woodcliff Lake, N.J., Nov. 21, 2000 – Syncsort Incorporated, a provider of high-performance software for data backup and recovery and data warehousing, will participate with industry partners Quantum/ATL and Network Appliance in four upcoming seminars sponsored by the Network Storage University.

The seminars are titled, ``Storage Networking with Gigabit Ethernet.'' Syncsort will discuss various implementation options for Backup Express, its network backup and restore solution, with Network Appliance filers and Quantum/ATL tape libraries in a Gigabit Ethernet environment. By utilizing the network data management protocol (NDMP) and its dynamic tape drive sharing feature, Backup Express offers numerous options to protect large amounts of critical corporate data residing on NetApp filers.

The seminars will initially be offered in four cites in the eastern United States with more to follow next year. The locations are: Pittsburgh, PA (Nov. 28, 2000); Newark, N.J.
