Sybase, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, today announced that it has broadened a long-standing relationship with IBM to help joint customers migrate to Linux(r) for improved data management and business analytics.

Under the terms of the agreement Sybase and IBM will bundle IBM OpenPower hardware with Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) Express Edition for Linux - the first enterprise-class commercial database to enable users to develop and deploy projects on Linux for maximum performance and manageability, without cost and with reduced risk.
