A new survey from the Information Technology Association of America shows increased optimism in the information technology services industry about future business demand, but reflects a downtick in business billing and operating rates and wages in the month of November. Survey respondents are optimistic about the future of the IT services industry. Seventy-six percent said they expect to see increased demand for IT services within the next three months, while 88 percent believe that demand will improve within the next year. In November, the number of businesses reporting that they expect increased demand within the next three months jumped by almost 30 percentage points compared to the same question asked in October, while the number of those expecting demand to go up within a year increased by over 15 percent.
