You don't see them as often, but IBM probably has more TV ready commercials in their bin than any company this side of Geico. Heck, for all the businesses and product lines the company owns, they might own an ad agency too. We know they have enough cash flow to support a movie studio.
The "Build a Smarter Planet" series is out there to take advantage of all moving parts in the IBM portfolio. The Watson commercial is a perfect example of a combination of products built into something greater than the sum of those parts, and we've talked to enough folks to have covered the Watson project ourselves.

The challenge for IBM now is to move all that spending and messaging into commercial products they can bring to market in affordable ways. The Data Baby commercial fits that product mold with analytics humanized into a use case anyone would be likely to care about.

IBM has a lot of angles to pursue and a lot of products and experts to call on, but this next ad, admittedly outdated, talks more about opportunities than impending products, yet still mostly holds for IBM's marketing purposes and products on the market. The future state of health care is forming but how fast it rolls out is not assured.
