November 2, 2010 – SpryWare released its third-generation suite of feed-handler software that can work with trading applications on any computing platform, from data center to Web-based desktop to cloud service.

The ticker plant software also can be installed as an embedded server in other software, the company said.

This allows the feed handlers to be deployed as an "in-process" program, inside a trading application. The embedding works on either Linux or Microsoft Windows servers.

The company said embedding its software brings down delivery times to less than 10 millionths of a second.

The software "has been optimized to take full advantage of the complete 64-bit instruction set and all the features such as simultaneous multi-threading offered by the latest Intel Xeon processor 5600 series,” said Claus Jensen, Director of Marketing at SpryWare.

Spryware is based in Chicago.
