With the growing saturation in the large enterprise segment, traditionally the biggest users of interactive voice response (IVR) systems, vendors in the North American IVR market are looking to the small- and mid-sized business segment for future growth opportunities. Market penetration of IVR systems within large enterprises has been steadily increasing since their introduction around a decade ago and currently stands at about 90 percent.
New analysis from Frost & Sullivan, North American IVR Systems Market, finds that this market earned revenues of $657.0 million in 2006 and estimates this to reach $1.35 billion in 2013.
