Anaheim, Calif., Feb. 23, 2000 – Spectria, a provider of e-business solutions, announced two key partnerships that will effectively leverage data mining and data warehousing functionality for e-businesses using the Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 platform. Spectria's new alliances with Knosys, Inc. and Maximal, Inc. leverage Spectria's products and service offerings using Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 with OLAP services to develop an effective business intelligence solution. Spectria made the announcement at the Data Warehousing International Conference at the Anaheim Hilton where the company demonstrated its e-business solutions.

Spectria will add Knosys' ProClarity Analytical Platform to provide advanced analytical capabilities into e-business environments using Office 2000 and SQL Server 7.0. The ProClarity Analytical Platform, with its ActiveX component architecture and completely open object model, enables organizations to insert customized analytical capabilities into the Office 2000 tools its business users employ most. In addition, Spectria will add Maximal's front-end software for the Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 platform, called Max. Using proprietary technologies to fully exploit the advanced analytical processing capabilities of the Microsoft platform, Max provides exceptional SQL-based performance, combined with multidimensional views and guided analysis to shorten time to knowledge for decision-makers.
