Solstice Software, the leader in end-to-end integration and SOA testing, announced the company is now a contributing member of the Web Services Interoperability Organization (WS-I), an open industry organization that promotes Web services interoperability across platforms, operating systems, and programming languages. Solstice's membership in the WS-I reflects the company's commitment to advancing Web services standards in support of SOA interoperability, governance, quality assurance, and business process validation. Solstice will be a member of the WS-I's Testing Tool Working Group, and will participate in the development of industry-standard testing tools for Web services and SOA.

One of the information technology industry's top governing bodies, the WS-I is a global organization with members in over 14 countries throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim. The membership includes leading technology vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and Sun Microsystems. Over 30 percent of members are non-vendor organizations that are consuming Web services to support business processes.
