Software AG Inc. and Contivo Inc. are teaming up and developing joint-venture products that will enable companies to better integrate data resources. Software AG, an XML applications developer, and Contivo, a provider of automated data integration tools, will support their customer's use of Software AG's Tamino native XML Service and EntireX enterprise application integration products. The tool enable users to more quickly integrate multiple disparate data resources, such as databases, enterprise applications and e-business portals, into networked business processes. Organizations will simultaneously improve the fidelity and understanding of the data being exchanged, the companies say. The partnership also will use enterprise integration modeling so copanies can reduce the manual effort of mapping between interfaces. With the EIM approach, users can analyze and model the relationships between business documents, automatically configuring integration run-time code. Knowledge about new business documents is configured to industry standards and is retained in an evolving repository. Software AG customers can leverage the repository as a centralized point to manage interfaces and messaging models.
