March 4, 2008 – The Sherwin-Williams Company selected MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform for reporting and analysis across its 3,325 Paint Stores.


Sherwin-Williams plans to use MicroStrategy to help employees improve sales and business performance.


MicroStrategy was selected by Sherwin-Williams because of its self-service reporting capabilities and 64-bit performance. “We wanted a BI platform that was easy to maintain and provided the scalability to support our growing user population,” said Emiro Uribe, manager systems development, The Sherwin-Williams Company.


“We are pleased to welcome Sherwin-Williams as a new MicroStrategy customer,” said Sanju Bansal, MicroStrategy’s COO.
