In a move that will give it wider distribution for its EIP technology, SAP Portals has signed another channel partner agreement. This time the venture is with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Under the arrangement, SAP Portals and PwC Consulting will target multinational clients that may implement PwC Consulting’s B2E applications using SAP’s Portal Enterprise Portal. TransAlta Corp., a Canadian electric generation and marketing company, is the first to use the SAP/PwC platform. SAP Portals is aggressively seeking channel partners for its technology. The wholly owned subsidiary of SAP AG has similar agreements with Hewlett-Packard, Compaq Computer and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
