It’s been a busy first quarter for SAP AG. First came news that SAP was acquiring TopTier, one of its chief development partners, and next came word that SAP is launching SAP Portals, a new company that will market business intelligence and enterprise portals applications.

Now SAP is reporting strong first quarter revenue and sales growth. For the quarter, SAP reported revenues of $1.3 billion on net income of $104 million, including sales of $60 million for mySAP CRM and $90 million for mySAP SCM. Our focused e-business strategy is paying off,” says SAP AG co- CEO Henning Kagermann.
