SAND Technology Inc., a leading supplier of high-performance analytic application infrastructure, has formed a cooperative marketing partnership with Sypherlink, a leading technology firm that enables information sharing across multiple data sources. SAND will leverage Sypherlink: Harvester's meta data discovery, analysis and mapping capabilities to accelerate the setup and configuration of SAND Analytic Server. Sypherlink will be able to utilize the SAND Analytic Server as a high-performance analytic platform for customers whose applications require a physically centralized database.
"Sypherlink: Harvester enhances the innate data cleansing capabilities of SAND Analytic Server," said SAND CEO Arthur Ritchie. "SAND Analytic Server's 'load-and-go' capabilities mean that business users can quickly and easily access a view of the raw data to help them discover anomalies. By first initiating an automated discovery process using Sypherlink: Harvester, we will be able to greatly shorten this process when implementing time-critical applications such as CRM and marketing analytics."
"SAND's unique analytic platform provides users with the ability to quickly analyze very large amounts of data," added James Paat, S ypherlink President and CEO. " By coupling this robust platform with Sypherlink's automated metadata analysis and mapping capabilities, clients will be able to 'discover' what information is available from disparate data sources and then choose to either query them remotely or quickly set up a fully functional 'data mart-on-demand' for more complex and persistent analytics. This capability will be of particular value for healthcare, law enforcement and Homeland Security applications."
