Recommind, a leading developer of advanced analytics software based in San Francisco, has announced the release of its Axcelerate Cloud to help legal professionals optimize the Discovery Process.

The new analytics tool is the latest iteration of its subscription-based SaaS eDiscovery product. According to the firm, Axcelerate Cloud now incorporates Efficiency Scoring, and “builds on Axcelerate’s interactive Business Intelligence layer to provide legal teams powerful, simple insights into the efficiency levels they are achieving across their discovery project portfolios.”

“With data volumes and legal investigations on the rise, it’s critical for organizations to equip themselves with powerful analytics and machine learning in an ultra-secure cloud infrastructure,” the firm noted.

“Too often organizations are burdened with inconsistent security, weak predictability and poor visibility around the discovery process. With highly-scalable architecture capable of supporting more than a billion records in a single deployment, Axcelerate Cloud transforms legal information access through analytics for superior fact finding and risk analysis, coupled with unparalleled review efficiency,” according to the announcement.

“The legal discovery process is often drawn out and complicated, racking up millions of dollars in corporate spend each year for businesses,” said Jerome Levadoux, senior vice president at Recommind. “To help customers gain faster insights for informed decision-making, we’ve optimized the document review process with better security, visibility, scalability and predictability. eDiscovery is quickly evolving into a closely tracked business process, and we’re committed to helping users make this transition.”
