A recent survey of Quest Software, Inc. customers revealed that nearly 60 percent of Toad for Oracle users take advantage of the query and reporting features offered in the tool, and nearly 30 percent of respondents identified themselves as some sort of data analyst. In response to the needs of data analyst customers, Quest announced the release of the newest member of the Toad family, Toad for Data Analysis.
According to a recent report1 by Accenture, "Managers spend up to two hours a day searching for information, and more than 50 percent of the information they obtain has no value to them." Further, 42 percent of respondents in the Accenture report said that at least once a week they accidentally use the wrong information.
