Protagona Worldwide, a leading provider of marketing automation software, announced its intention to acquire Swetenhams Marketing Services. The enlarged group will create the only company in the U.K. to give marketers full data provision, data integration and marketing automation services under one roof. The combined business will operate under the Protagona name and will significantly reduce the marketing campaign cycle times of Fortune 500 companies and SMEs, dramatically improving their marketing effectiveness, productivity, sales and profitability.
The acquisition now allows Protagona to offer the equivalent of Fortune 500 campaign management solutions to SMEs. Protagona Ensemble will be augmented by Swetenhams' extensive data provision and integration solutions and services, thus offering a Total Marketing Solution.
The Total Marketing Solution will be available to customers on a hosted service basis, which is intended to minimize the inconvenience and time that mid-sized companies typically face in designing, building and maintaining a significant marketing database. It will also provide SMEs with the ability to optimally analyze, segment and target their customer base, achieving better measurement metrics and a better return on investment for their marketing campaigns.
