Lawson M3 Analytics for Food & Beverage helps food companies simplify deployment of a complete package of BI tools. The application includes 70 preconfigured key performance indicators (KPIs) and 50 prebuilt scorecard reports commonly used by food companies.

 

Mimosa Systems announced the Mimosa NearPoint Tiered Storage Option (TSO). The new solution is an add-on module to the Mimosa NearPoint Live Content Archiving Platform that delivers policy-based automation to map email and file information access to granular business service level requirements. NearPoint TSO allows organizations to control storage costs while supporting legal and compliance requirements for long term data retention and recovery.

 

A new version of Vertica's grid-based, column-oriented analytic database lets companies meet more aggressive BI service level agreements (SLAs) and give more people faster access to larger volumes of data by making it possible to apply next-generation analytic database technology to a wider variety of workloads. Vertica Analytic Database 2.5 also simplifies coexistence with or migration from existing data warehouse systems, allowing users to quickly gain data access by offloading slow queries to Vertica-based teramarts.
