3Tera, Inc., a leading innovator of cloud computing technology and utility computing services, announced beta availability of AppLogic 2.4, which includes support for virtual appliances running Microsoft Windows Server incorporated in all infrastructure components necessary to run Web applications including storage, networking and load balancing. AtTask, a leading provider of project and portfolio management (PPM) software, announced that a new version of @task on-demand PPM software is now available. The new release includes several user-requested features and product enhancements. AtTask dedicated this product release to responding to customer input. One key new feature, out of more than 30 included in this release, is the ability to integrate other business applications via mashups within @task. Applications such as Salesforce.com, SAP, or SharePoint can all be opened as tabs within @task, allowing users to access their critical information and quickly integrate that data with @task.

Open Text Corporation announced the release of Genio 7, Open Text’s content and data integration solution used to transform, cleanse and direct unstructured and structured information across the entire spectrum of decision support systems and corporate applications, spanning projects that include data warehouses, data marts, mainframe systems, ERP systems, CRM systems and content management deployments. Genio offers a comprehensive solution for organizations to seamlessly integrate their content and data assets between multiple systems and processes. Open Text also announced the release of Version 2.0 of its Open Text Employee Information Management (EIM) solution. Highlights of the new version include improved user navigation, tighter integration with the SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) solution, as well as a new feature that allows guest users to temporarily access content in personnel folders, subject to security policies.


Terracotta announced the latest version of the open source Java clustering solution, Terracotta version 2.7. The new version builds on the growing adoption of Terracotta in specific vertical markets and applications such as reservation systems, online gaming and information portals. In addition, it offers extended support for the Spring framework and Glassfish application server, and it delivers enhanced scalability, performance and operational visibility.
