Appian announced the Appian 6 BPM Suite. Appian 6 accelerates process improvement through a complete BPM suite that delivers collaboration, application development, a real-time process architecture and flexible deployment models. Appian 6 provides the quick way to deploy robust process applications.  Clarabridge, in conjunction with Alterian technology, launched Clarabridge Social Media Analysis (SMA), a software solution that enables companies to leverage advanced text analysis to turn social media content into actionable customer intelligence in conjunction with analysis of their internal customer feedback sources. Clarabridge SMA accesses social media content from Alterian’s TechrigySM2 warehouse of social media content, which currently houses nearly 3 billion pieces of data from blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace and other social media sites. SMA then automatically removes unwanted content, sorts actionable from non-actionable topics and applies enhanced meaning and context to conversations using included Natural Language Processing, classification and sentiment scoring engines.  iDashboards announced the availability of iDashboards In Cloud, a software as a service-based application. Housed on the Amazon Elastic Cloud (EC2) platform, iDashboards In Cloud (SaaS) enables users to capitalize on the functionality and benefits of traditional BI driven dashboards -- at a fraction of the cost. iDashboards In Cloud (SaaS) allows users to upload Excel spreadsheets online to create fully customizable dashboards.  Lawson Software announced the general availability of Lawson Enterprise Search for the Lawson M3 product suite. Lawson Enterprise search is a new product to search both structured and unstructured data across the Lawson M3 system, Lawson Business Intelligence, the user’s desktop and personal transaction history. It allows searching for data that is typically not searchable in standard database systems.  Opalis Software Inc. announced Opalis Integration Server version 6.2 with advanced RBA 2.0 capabilities as defined by Gartner. This release enhances the Opalis data bus and provides new encapsulated scripting features required to meet the production demands of the highly agile, highly scalable enterprise data center. Opalis is the first ITPA vendor to announce delivery of an RBA 2.0 automation platform, according to the company release.
