Aleri Inc. announced a major new module for its Liquidity Management System (LMS). Aleri LMS, an enterprise-class commercial application that leverages CEP technology, automates time-consuming, manual processes to allow institutions to focus on cost-effective liquidity strategies that reduce operational costs while enhancing their competitive position. Aleri clients will be able to benefit from LMS 5 and the new Collateral Management Module (CMM) that provide up-to-date, accurate, enterprise inventory liquidity centric views of liquid assets positions for day-to-day and crisis liquidity management purposes.


BEA Systems, Inc. announced the latest releases of Tuxedo and Services Architecture Leveraging Tuxedo (SALT) and a new product for monitoring and tracing Tuxedo-based applications and systems, Tuxedo System and Application Monitor (TSAM). The new releases help ensure enterprises can preserve and extend the life of mature, mission-critical applications written in C, C++ and COBOL without compromise while allowing these applications to be leveraged for SOA.


DataDirect Technologies announced its award-winning database drivers now support the MySQL Enterprise Server, the commercial version of the most widely used open-source database and an emerging force in business-critical software deployments. The DataDirect Connect line consists of data connectivity products that support every leading commercial and open-source operating system, application server and database. 


IBM announced new and enhanced services and software that further simplify the adoption of service oriented architecture (SOA). Highlights of the new and enhanced IBM software include an updated version of WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Message Broker and MQ, which feature enhanced Web services support; Tivoli Composite Application Manager for SOA, which provides detailed information on service flows across the SOA environment; WebSphere DataPower XML Security Gateway, which provides hardware-based security for XML and Web services; and IBM Information Server, which enables information to be provided as reusable services.


LogiXML, Inc. announced a major upgrade to the entire Logi 8 Business Intelligence Platform. Logi 8 Version 8.2 helps organizations extend BI value to more users by adding enterprise search capabilities via the new Logi Intelligence Server and delivers new tools for developers to add unique, Web 2.0-style BI features like Text Clouds to reports.


MicroStrategy Incorporated announced the availability of MicroStrategy Integrity Manager, a new product that tests the accuracy of BI applications by validating data and report integrity. MicroStrategy Integrity Manager automates the report comparison process and verifies the consistency of reports as changes are made to the BI ecosystem. Despite the increasing importance of BI applications, BI support teams may fail to validate report and data integrity because the validation process is too labor intensive and time-consuming.


MicroStrategy Incorporated announced the general availability of MicroStrategy Mobile, a new product that delivers BI information directly to BlackBerry smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM)/MicroStrategy Mobile was included in MicroStrategy's September 2007 software release. MicroStrategy Mobile offers powerful features that enable business users to receive the same eports on their BlackBerry smartphone that they receive on their desktop, without the need for reformatting or retrofitting existing reports.


Parasoft Corporation announced the availability of Parasoft SOAtest 5.5.Parasoft SOAtest 5.5 adds new testing capabilities to its comprehensive and collaborative test suite and is designed specifically to increase productivity and efficiency for development teams working in complex SOAs, including those working in the Microsoft .NET environment.


Purisma announced Purisma Data Hub 3.5, the latest version of its master data management (MDM) solution. Purisma Data Hub 3.5 utilizes server clustering for high performance and availability. A grid-based computing platform and intelligent load balancing deliver the scalability and fault tolerance necessary for large-scale, mission critical deployments. Release 3.5 provides enhancements to create corporate family trees that model how companies view and interact with their largest customers while still keeping them in sync with trusted, reference data sources like D&B.


Visual Numerics, Inc. announced PV-WAVE version 9.0, the next-generation of the company’s visual data analysis software, with new analysis features, expanded usability and performance, and broader platform support. With PV-WAVE 9.0, Visual Numerics enables users to build visual analysis applications on a wider range of platforms, and perform data mining and forecasting of large and complex data sets to better understand trends, patterns and anomalies in their data.
