alfabet Inc. announced Release 4.0 of planningIT. This latest version includes several major enhancements designed to improve how organizations plan, govern and change their business/IT architecture. The new Automated Workflow platform in planningIT establishes and enforces processes for planning and managing the architecture. The Milestone Tracking feature adds to planningIT’s already strong support for IT governance.


DataMentors announced that it has launched NetEffect, a unique Internet-based real-time transactional cleansing and matching solution. With NetEffect, using either an Internet browser or installed thin-client, individual records are cleansed, matched and results delivered back to the end user in real time.


Initiate Systems, Inc. announced the availability of version 8.1 of its Initiate Master Data Service software, as the company continues to focus on software that delivers robust data stewardship and data quality capabilities, time-to-value and exceptional performance and scalability. Version 8.1 enables customers to operationalize governance and resolve data quality issues.


JDA Software Group, Inc. announced the JDA Enterprise Planning suite, powered by Arthur Version 7.5, a solution to drive end-to-end visibility into consumer insights while bridging the gap between planning and execution, enabling business transformation. JDA Software’s third-generation Assortment Planning solution, included within the v.7.5 release, helps to solve retail’s age-old dilemma of disparate silos of merchandise planning and execution functions to support multi-channel operations.


Metastorm announced the release of Version 6.1 of the Metastorm ProVision enterprise modeling software suite – including an update to its collaborative Knowledge Exchange Web-based repository application. Key features include additional reporting and analysis features for portfolio management and Six Sigma, robust interfaces for improved interoperability, and increased enterprise scalability to better support large enterprise architecture programs.


SOALogix announced its Confero EPM (enterprise project management) integration appliance. Confero EPM enables enterprises to share information among applications quickly and cost-effectively. Confero EPM enforces business processes and extends the life of critical applications by incorporating them into service-oriented architectures. Confero EPM eliminates costly customizations and delivers a combination of investment protection and agility.


Spotfire announced TIBCO Spotfire 2.1, to help customers and partners create visual, interactive and fast business mashups. This latest release also includes new application programming interfaces that enable richer analytic and pervasive business intelligence application development. TIBCO Spotfire 2.1 also offers new analytic capabilities and usability enhancements for business professionals to find insights in any information.


SRC, LLC announced Alteryx v4.0, an advanced software solution that delivers key business intelligence and transforms complex business data into actionable information. Alteryx v4.0 includes several innovations that speed the processing of user-selected content, including spatial and nonspatial data, from corporate data transaction and warehouse systems. 


Tizor Systems announced Mantra version 5.9 with advanced features for usability, scalability and compliance coverage. New features include automated policy creation for faster time to deployment; advanced analytics for mitigating data risk in real time; and an enhanced user interface for an easy-to-use solution for business, compliance and technical users.


VMware, Inc. announced the availability of VMware Lifecycle Manager. The new product provides control over the virtual environment, showing who owns a virtual machine, when it was requested, who approved it, where it is deployed, how long it has been in operation and when it is scheduled to be decommissioned.
