Asset Control released a new version of its TAPMaster data management software that provides users with enhanced validation, graphical visualization and exception handling. TAPMaster 4.0 provides the following enhancements: centrally stored and easily managed validation rules for error detection; enhanced exception handling, cleansing and workflow; expanded data source support, standardized data coverage and maintained feed handlers; and graphical schemas to provide transparency for business users.
Demandbase announced the general availability of Demandbase Professional, a new software as a service offering that enables sales and marketing professionals to better identify, reach and convert new business. With Demandbase Professional, users will be able to utilize a new breed of B2B Web analytics to improve marketing and sales performance and turn anonymous web traffic into new sales leads. Demandbase Professional is fully integrated with the Demandbase Central lead generation platform, providing access to millions of validated business contacts and the Demandbase Stream desktop Web traffic monitoring service.
Oracle Corp.s financial services unit introduced two offerings, Oracle Reveleus ICAAP Analytics and Oracle Reveleus ICAAP Assessments, designed to help institutions comply with the internal capital adequacy assessment process, or ICAAP, requirements of the Basel II accords by identifying, measuring and managing risk and capital across the enterprise. Oracle also announced the release of Oracle Hyperion Strategic Finance, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware that enables improved predictive modeling and reduced forecasting time, and PeopleSoft Enterprise Workforce Communications, which gives HR organizations the ability to conduct two-way dialogue and focus on strategic initiatives to cut costs and maximize success.
Quest Software, Inc. today announced the newest edition of Spotlight on Oracle, a desktop-based monitoring and diagnostics tool that provides visibility into database processes and performance. Spotlight exposes current and future performance problems, ensuring that database administrators remain a step ahead of database issues that can negatively impact applications, users, customers and business operations.
Trillium Software, a business of Harte-Hanks, Inc., and Syncsort, announced a global technology alliance aimed at helping customers integrate data quality functionality directly into an array of data management processes. The alliance can provide customers with high-speed transformation and aggregation, and potentially lower costs for data warehousing, BI, CMR and data integration initiatives. The two companies have created a software-based "application connector" that seamlessly integrates the Trillium Software System data quality product with DMExpress, Syncsort's data integration and ETL solution.
