As you know, most professionals are supported by professional societies. There is currently no such society that directly supports data/information quality professionals. Tom Redman, president of Navesink Consulting Group and renowned data quality expert, and I have come to believe that such a society would be very beneficial. Together we are conducting a survey to determine interest, solicit feedback and seek out those who would help found such a professional society. We are interested in your opinion.

We do not wish this organization to compete with any existing professional organization, but rather wish to establish a professional association to support those interested in applying quality management principles to data and information to achieve business performance excellence.
