OutlookSoft Corporation, producer of a unified business performance management (BPM) solution, has been named a Rising Star in Deloitte & Touche's prestigious "Technology Fast 50" Program for the NY-NJ-CT Tri-State region. The Rising Star award is a special designation for fast-growth technology companies that have been in business just three or four years and is part of the regional Technology Fast 50 program, which ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the region. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues from 1999 to 2001 (three-year period).

OutlookSoft's Executive Chairman, Tom Cowan, credits the company's success to three key factors: a seasoned senior management team with a clear vision of strategic goals and practical objectives, the results clients achieve using OutlookSoft's unique BPM solution and the internal culture which supports and inspires employees to work towards the common goal of delivering exceptional client service. "I am very pleased to see that our dedication to plan execution and customer focus is being acknowledged in this manner," said Cowan. "This award highlights the commitment we extend to our customers to help them achieve a rapid return on their investment and long-term, sustainable results."

To qualify for the Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1998 or 1999 and $1,000,000 in 2001, must be public or private companies headquartered North America and be technology companies – defined as companies that own proprietary technology which contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues or devotes a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology.

"To rank on the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 Rising Star List, companies must have phenomenal revenue growth in a three-year period," said Dave Carver, technology, media and telecommunications managing partner, Deloitte & Touche.
