October 6, 2010 – Oracle is aiming to deepen its integration and simplify security with its reported acquisition of Passlogix.

Financial terms were not disclosed by either company in the proposed acquisition of Passlogix, a provider of enterprise single sign-on solutions (ESSO) that assist companies in identity management security.

In a news release, Amit Jasuja, Oracle vice president of identity management, said: “With the addition of Passlogix, we expect to provide a complete enterprise-scale identity management solution and be able to provide more global reach and support resources to customers.”

Founded in 1996 and based in New York City, Passlogix counts nearly 2,500 customers across multiple industries as using its ESSO solutions.
