June 2, 2000 – For four days, beginning Tuesday, June 6, San Francisco will be a showcase of innovation. The JavaOne conference is expected to draw tens of thousands of the world’s best and brightest developers to San Francisco’s Moscone Center.

John Gage, from Sun Microsystems, will interview some leaders in the Java world including James Gosling, the original designer of the Java programming language, Bill Joy, Sun co-founder and vice president of research, and Greg PaPapadopoulos, Sun’s chief technology officer. In addition to the JavaOne Developer Conference, companies exhibiting in the JavaOne Pavilion will showcase the latest Java technology-based products.
