Addonics announced its USB HDD/Flash Duplicator, a USB device that can operate as a standalone appliance for copying data from a single USB drive onto multiple USB drives at one time. Available in a choice of three models that can duplicate data onto seven, 15, or 13 targets, the duplicator can also automatically encrypt data through the optional Addonics CipherUSB incline.

blueKiwi released blueKiwi ZEN, its SaaS enterprise social software. The release, available in Professional, Premium and Enterprise editions, includes a recommendation engine, native mobile applications for iOS, Android and Blackberry, and Microsoft Office and Outlook add-ins. 

BroadVision announced its Clearvale Social Engagement Analysis Service, created to measure and analyze how well they are interacting with employees, customers and partners through the use of social analytics. This solution measure social reach, interdepartmental connectivity and participant activity levels and inequality.

IBM released components and capabilities for its PureFlex and Flex System portfolio. New capabilities include integrated end-to-end storage management, mobile access to the system for mobile devices and centralized control of user IDs and password across nodes and chassis. New components include a new version of IBM Flex System Management, which allows clients to bring new components online faster and provide better monitoring and alters; an Integrated Flex System V7000 storage node with built-in virtualization, intelligent tiering and IBM Real-time Compression; Power7+, x440 and x220 computer nodes, which as all built-to-order; and new converged fabric switches providing Fibre Channel over Ethernet.

NuoDB Pro Edition features unlimited scalability, built-in redundancy and a Hadoop HDFS option.

OpenText released four new solutions: OpenText Cloud is an EIM cloud featuring all of OpenText’s software offerings; OpenText Tempo Social is an out-of-the-box social collaboration solution featuring enterprise-grade security and compliance; OpenText Tempo Box is a secure cloud-based document management solution, which automatically synchronizes content across multiple devices; and OpenText InfoFusion is a middleware platform that federates information across authoritative sources, allowing users to execute data integration, content migration, data archiving and legacy decommissioning. 

Perceptive Software released Perceptive DataTransfer, a Web-based data upload solution for the higher education community. Perceptive DataTransfer enables information to automatically upload through Web forms, data files and other sources and integrates with an institution’s enterprise systems.

Precog unveiled a MongoDB implementation of the Precog data science platform, which enables the construction of big data analytics features into applications on top of an existing MongoDB database. The release, offered as a free package to their existing MongoDB, combines Precog’s core data science platform and Labcoat, its interactive data analysis tool.

Progress Software announced a beta program of its DataDirect Cloud service, a SaaS-based connection management offering. This service provides real-time SQL access to multiple data sources, Web-based query development tools and a single ODBC and JDBC driver that plugs into multiple third party suites.

Revolution Analytics launched the latest version of Revolution R Enterprise. Features in Revolution R Enterprise 6.1 allow analysis of data from Hadoop Distributed File Systems, as well as utilization of big data decision trees and faster access to big data, via RevoScaleR’s XDF file format.

STORServer announced availability of STORServer Console v3.0, for IBM Tivoli Storage Manager users. This update allows users to manage end-to-end backup appliance functionality in less than 30 minutes per day. Updates include replication activities reports, missed file reports that include specified policy domains only and storage pool reports that identifies unprotected storage pools.
