Autonomy Corporation plc introduced its new product for eDiscovery and compliance. It uses a scalable, distributed model to automatically search, identify, preserve and collect relevant electronically-stored information to the cloud from laptops, desktops and more than 400 enterprise repositories, including file and email servers, archives and Microsoft SharePoint. Collected ESI is then stored in Autonomy's secure, cloud-based archive, enabling organizations to perform defensible and systemized preservation and collection in the shortest amount of time to meet the preservation obligation.

CA announced CA Encryption Key Manager (CA EKM), a z/OS-based comprehensive solution that unifies and automates the management, storage, distribution and documentation of encryption keys for multivendor mainframe and distributed environments, such as Linux, UNIX, Windows and Solaris. By doing so, CA EKM can reduce administrative overhead, support compliance best practices and corporate governance initiatives and reduce the risk of downtime that can result from the inability to access encrypted data.
