CA, Inc. announced the latest evolution of the CA ARCserve Family of Products designed to provide total protection, recovery and availability for customers’ systems, applications and data. The major new releases of CA ARCserve Backup, CA ARCserve Replication, CA ARCserve High Availability (formerly CA XOsoft Replication and High Availability), and an innovative new disk-to-disk backup and restore product, CA ARCserve D2D, help organizations control their critical data anywhere, anytime as business needs change.

Dexrex Gear launched version 2.2 of its ChatSync platform, adding increased support of well-known social media platforms and increased customization features for enterprises. Dexrex Gear's cloud-based ChatSync message archiving and management platform, which is already compatible with the most popular IM clients from companies such as Skype, Yahoo!, AOL, Microsoft and others, now offers broad support for messaging and communications from social media communities Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Embarcadero Technologies released Rapid SQL XE, the latest version of its integrated development environment (IDE) that enables developers and database administrators (DBAs) to produce high quality SQL code faster. Rapid SQL XE includes direct native support for heterogeneous database environments from a single user interface, and debuts support for Embarcadero InterBase and the open-source Firebird database, in addition to full Unicode support.

Iomega announced the an advanced entry in its lineup of network storage products with the launch of the new Iomega StorCenter ix12-300r Network Storage array. Incorporating industry-leading enterprise-class EMC storage technologies, the StorCenter ix12-300r is a rackmount storage device for small and medium businesses, as well as small enterprise locations such as workgroups, departments and distributed/branch offices that require expandability, reliability and advanced capability features without the need for a dedicated IT staff.

kCura announced the launch of Relativity Six, the newest version of their e-discovery software. The release includes changes to the platform core that enhance speed and scalability, as well as innovations to end-user functionality, providing greater insight into case data.

Maximizer Software Inc. today announced the availability of its latest version, Maximizer CRM 11. Maximizer’s newest version enables mobilized workforces to capitalize on business opportunities from any location. Maximizer CRM now supports the Firefox Web browser, which appreciably broadens its Web access footprint beyond Microsoft Windows, to include both Apple (Mac) and Linux platform users. Additionally, full marketing campaign support via Web access now enables marketing staff to send email campaigns and track and report on results from anywhere. Action plan creation and access to the document library are also included in Web access. 

Oracle announced the availability of Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management 2.0, with new enhancements in scheduling, dispatch and field communication. The new functionality includes: improved field work planning and scheduling without artificial boundaries: a computational grid feeds up to a year’s worth of planned maintenance and inspection field activities into the system to assign the right crew at the right time, in any area the utility serves.
