AppDynamics, Inc. released a free edition of its solution called AppDynamics Lite – a troubleshooting tool designed to help IT operations and development teams support applications in high-volume production environments. AppDynamics Lite equips IT Operations and Development teams alike with the feature set of high-end legacy application monitoring products, enabling them to rapidly troubleshoot and diagnose performance problems within minutes. The tool takes only two minutes to install and immediately identifies typical application issues such as slow SQL, stalls, errors and slow response time.

arcplan announced Version 2.0 of arcplan Edge, its budgeting, planning and forecasting solution. Following the acquisition a year ago of U.S. software company LumenSoft and its Excel-based planning and budgeting tool, arcplan has revised and enhanced arcplan Edge with additional collaboration and integration features, as well as a full integration into its arcplan Enterprise platform. 

Demandbase, Inc. announced availability of Real-Time ID Service, its platform for real-time identification of business Web traffic. Accessed using a Web service API, marketers can now power their website or online products with the intelligence of knowing which company is about to visit, and then serve a Web experience with industry-specific messages, shorter web forms, or even custom product offers for specific accounts.

Epicor Software Corporation unveiled Epicor Manufacturing Express Edition, the on-demand version of its Epicor 9 next-generation enterprise resource planning solution. Epicor Express offers a modern, comprehensive end-to-end solution for job shops and smaller manufacturers provided through the software as a service model.

IBM announced predictive analytics software, new software that enables users to uncover and analyze information from social media sources, such as social networks and blogs, and then merge that with vast internal data for faster, more accurate insight and predictive intelligence. The new data mining and text analytics software allows users to monitor changes in consumer, constituent and employee attitudes, uncover deeper insights, and then predict key factors that will drive future customer acquisition and retention campaigns.

Idera announced its new SharePoint migration suite. The suite provides SharePoint administrators and users with multiuse content organization tools. These tools enable administrators to organize SharePoint content on an ongoing basis, improving search efficiency, usability, manageability and compliance, as well as ensuring an accelerated migration to SharePoint 2010. The Idera SharePoint migration suite consists of the following products: SharePoint information architect, SharePoint content organizer and SharePoint migration manager.

LogiXML announced a new release of the company's business intelligence platform, Logi-Info Version 10. According to the company, Logi-Info Version 10 includes more than 200 enhancements and features Logi XOLAP, a real-time, multidimensional analysis engine. LogiXML has a Web-based BI platform (Logi-Info) that offers the functionality of traditional BI platforms, without the need for special expertise. Logi XOLAP multidimensional analysis brings the analytical power of data cubes without the need to go through the traditional, complex, data modeling process, allowing users to more easily analyze large data sets. It is completely integrated into the Logi-Info BI platform and is available at no additional cost.

Lyzasoft announced the immediate availability of a free version of Lyza Commons, a fully functional cloud-based version of Lyza that enables data analysts at small to medium sized businesses to extract insight from large volumes of data and to socialize those insights with team members.

Oracle announced the launch of Oracle's Primavera Inspire for SAP 7.0 for enhanced integration between Oracle's Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management and SAP enterprise resource planning project-related modules. Oracle’s Primavera Inspire for SAP 7.0 enables executives and project managers to achieve measurable ROI by aligning material, resource, schedule and financial information between SAP’s Materials Management, Project System and Plant Maintenance modules and Oracle’s Primavera P6.

PROPHIX Software announced the launch of PROPHIX 10, new software that automates budgeting, planning and consolidations for half the price of traditional CPM software solutions. PROPHIX 10 enables business users to analyze data, run reports from their desks, contribute to the planning process, and share critical information across the organization. It combines high-level functionality with standard technology at a competitive price. With PROPHIX 10, customers gain a forward-looking view of their financial position, enabling smarter and faster business decisions.

Recommind announced the availability of MindServer Search 7.0, the latest version of its flagship enterprise search product. Recommind is enabling enterprises to deliver more relevant search results to their information workers and maximize investments in tools such as Microsoft SharePoint. Built on Recommind’s powerful CORE platform, MindServer Search 7.0 adds powerful new Web 2.0 collaborative features such as social tagging, delivery of content via RSS, a brand new Web-based administration client designed to simplify maintenance and accelerate deployments and an intuitive and more easily customizable user interface. MindServer Search 7.0 supports search for content in SharePoint 2003, 2007 and 2010.

SAS introduced the next generation of SAS Risk Management for Banking, a firmwide solution for risk management in the banking sector. Using SAS Risk Management for Banking, which includes data management, advanced analytics and reporting, organizations can measure exposure and risk across all risk types and books of business, and distribute incentives for consistent optimization of risk-adjusted returns.

Syncsort announced DMExpress 6, a fast and resource efficient data integration software available for organizations experiencing exploding data volumes and reduced processing windows.
