Autonomy Corporation plc announced a new console, called Explore, which provides marketers with a visualization interface to Autonomy IDOL’s deep analytics capabilities. Autonomy Explore provides marketers with the following: a new analytics visualization console, which connects to every customer touchpoint, including social networks, contact centers and the Web; discovers patterns, trends and sentiment across all channels inside and outside an enterprise; and includes out of the box widgets for automatically categorizing and understanding market trends and clusters of customers.

Ipreo announced the availability of BD for Dynamics – an integration of Ipreo’s Bigdough institutional data and prospecting tools with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. BD For Dynamics combines Ipreo’s BD Advanced workflow solution, as well as the full Bigdough database of institutional contacts, via an intuitive integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, allowing clients to seamlessly screen, manipulate, mine and manage Bigdough information, enhancing the value of the platform for sales and research professionals.

Iron Mountain Inc announced an enhanced version of its Digital Record Center for Medical Images, a cloud storage service for backing up and archiving digital medical information. Now offering greater levels of flexibility, scalability, access and security, the new hybrid cloud service adds an optional onsite storage component to complement its existing cloud service. The combination allows healthcare organizations to configure the service to meet their specific access and disaster recovery requirements.

Netezza Corporation announced the latest release of the Netezza Mantra appliance, its database activity monitoring solution, which now provides enterprises with a more comprehensive level of discovery and categorization of sensitive information across their largest data assets. The new release also adds support for discovery on the MySQL database.

Oracle introduced an enterprise healthcare analytics solution that helps providers create a detailed, holistic and integrated view of their enterprise. The solution integrates data from electronic medical records, clinical departmental systems, patient accounting, ERP, research and other source systems to help providers rapidly and cost effectively unlock value from their clinical and operational data. Oracle Healthcare Data Warehouse Foundation is a comprehensive, detailed data model specifically engineered for provider enterprise data warehousing that includes an expanding list of more than 1,000 entities and 12,000 attributes spanning the clinical, financial, operational and research domains.

Quest Software, Inc. and HealthCast, Inc. announced an end-to-end clinical desktop and workflow product that simplifies and automates secure clinician access to protected health care information with the benefits of virtualization. HealthCast’s eXactACCESS single sign-on and clinical workflow solution, coupled with Quest vWorkspace virtual desktop management solution, optimizes performance and secures access to critical electronic health, order entry and clinical documentation systems. As a result, these systems can be centrally managed to reduce costs and security concerns while increasing control of the clinical desktop environment.  

Radiant Logic announced the latest release of RadiantOne Identity & Context Virtualization Platform. RadiantOne Suite 5.2 enables enterprises to “manage globally and act locally” in high-volume identity environments with distributed user populations, such as customers, partners, employees and disparate data sources, including directories, databases and Web services. The suite consists of Virtual Directory Server Context Edition 5.2 and Identity and Correlation Server (ICS) 5.2. The new RadiantOne Suite highlights the recent introduction of the Global Identifier & Profile Builder, which allows enterprises to create a unified list of all identities and their profiles drawn from various applications, databases and directories. The new suite also introduces a key feature for SharePoint and other portals.

SAP AG announced a new release of the SAP Business One application that accelerates time-to-value, facilitates business adaptability and increases ease-of-use. The new 8.8 release of SAP Business One includes new innovations and advancements in the areas of functionality, performance and user experience that will improve customers’ usability and productivity. The company also released a new business intelligence solution for quality management in health care. Based on solutions from the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio, the new offering optimizes data collection and reporting processes across an organization’s operating systems, helping it to gain new levels of insight to identify potential areas of quality improvement. And, Software AG announced open beta availability for ARISalign, its first cloud computing solution – leveraging Amazon Web Services. ARISalign offers an open, global community for project participants dealing with business processes.

Teradata Corporation introduced the Teradata Extreme Data Appliance 1600, offering companies a complete, integrated appliance capable of the deep analysis of archival data four times faster than the previous generation. To meet the growing demand for deep analysis of massive data volumes, the Teradata Extreme Data Appliance scales from 29 terabytes up to more than 50 petabytes of data.
