Alfresco announced the availability of Alfresco Migration Services to simplify content migration from costly legacy and proprietary solutions to Alfresco ECM. The packaged solution will enable organizations to decrease their enterprise content management costs in an increasingly commoditized market. While Alfresco Migration Services will be made available for a variety of legacy and proprietary ECM solutions, the services will initially be offered for organizations seeking to migrate from EMC Documentum and Microsoft SharePoint to Alfresco Enterprise.

Apprenda announced SaaSGrid Express, a free, downloadable product based on the full featured SaaSGrid, the company’s leading application server for software as a service. With SaaSGrid Express Edition, software companies now have free access to a complete foundation on which to deliver .NET applications as mature SaaS offerings, and do so with an efficient cost of delivery profile that rivals the most dominant SaaS providers in the industry.
Embarcadero Technologies announced the availability of Delphi Prism 2011, a cross-platform development tool and robust programming language for rapidly developing .NET, Mono, ASP.NET and data-driven applications for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The latest version of Delphi Prism extends the reach of Delphi developers who want to work with the latest Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0 technologies, develop cross-platform applications on Mac OS X, and even create iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications.

Kalido announced upgrades to the Kalido Information Engine and Kalido Master Data Management that will improve customer productivity. In particular, the new release includes richer and more robust data matching capabilities than previously available. Data managers can use Kalido MDM to define, test, save and execute complex data matching and mapping rules without the need to code complex business logic. The enhancements also enable active participation from the data experts in the process of integrating data. In addition to the improved data matching capabilities, the latest release of the Kalido Information Engine also features a high performance transaction loader; greater control over temporary, time-based changes; finer granularity over change logs for audit purposes; and increased compatibility and support for the latest releases of various platforms and technologies.

NetApp announced the availability of NetApp StorageGRID, a solution designed to manage petabyte-scale globally distributed repositories of images, video, and records for enterprises and service providers. StorageGRID, which is a result of NetApp's completed acquisition of Bycast Inc. on May 14, 2010, extends NetApp's leadership position in unified storage by adding an object storage offering. Object storage is a new and emerging approach to storing and accessing unstructured data that can simplify the task of large-scale object storage while improving the ability to quickly search and locate data objects globally.

Oracle introduced Oracle’s Sun Ray 3 Plus Client, the latest addition to the Sun Ray Client family, and the latest release of Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure software. These products add to Oracle’s desktop virtualization portfolio, which also includes Oracle Secure Global Desktop and Oracle VM VirtualBox. Enhancements include support for Windows 7 virtual desktops, ENERGY STAR 5.0 rating, support for larger displays, and higher performance and security.

Panorama Software announced the release of NovaView 6.2, the newest iteration of its flagship suite of Web-enabled business intelligence applications. Along with its other improvements, NovaView 6.2 breaks new ground offering native connectivity and extending Microsoft’s new in-memory engine, PowerPivot, as well as tight integration with Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010. Oracle connectivity is another key addition to the available data sources, making Oracle relational DB data instantly available for interactive, multidimensional analysis with the entire NovaView product stack.

ReliaCloud, a national cloud computing infrastructure company, launched a full channel program centered on their enterprise-class infrastructure as a service cloud computing offering. ReliaCloud will make the reseller process as easy as possible, by providing a suite of tools that supports their resale process. ReliaCloud has developed a series of programs that maximize the use of their Cloud Storage and Cloud Servers for each of their customer profiles.
