AppDynamics, Inc. announced the general availability of AppDynamics version 2.0. Created specifically for the new world of cloud, virtual and SOA environments, AppDynamics v2.0 delivers problem resolution for highly distributed applications.

Aster Data announced Aster Data nCluster 4.5, which allows companies to simplify development and management of highly advanced interactive analytic applications that process large data volumes. Key new features of nCluster 4.5 include: Aster Data Developer Express, an integrated visual environment for developing analytic applications with SQL and MapReduce; Aster Data Analytic Foundation, which accelerates the development of rich analytics with a suite of reusable building blocks for common analytic functions; and Aster Data Management Console 4.5, a new rich management console that makes it easy to monitor and manage big data and advanced analytic applications with an intuitive interface.

DataFlux introduced the DataFlux Data Management Platform, a unified design, development and execution environment that enables data quality, data integration and master data management – all from a single interface. The Data Management Platform allows organizations to plan, implement and monitor data-centric projects – and extend them across the enterprise – to enable better decisions based on more accurate and trusted data.

DCF Technologies Ltd. announced the availability of SafePeak 1.3 for SQL Server. SafePeak’s plug and play solution accelerates data access and retrieval providing immediate results, with no need to change existing databases or applications. SafePeak acts as a proxy cache between application servers and database servers. Auto-learning caching algorithms store SQL statement results in SafePeak memory, reducing database server load, eliminating traffic bottlenecks and increasing scalability and transaction throughput.

i2 unveiled the i2 Fusion Center Solution, an end-to-end system that enables investigators and analysts to connect Fusion Centers across America. The software suite will significantly enhance the ability of regional intelligence fusion centers to gather, develop, analyze and share information across agency and state divides.

IDBS announced the availability of InforSense Suite 5.1, the latest release of its next generation scientific business intelligence solution. InforSense Suite 5.1, now offers a higher level of functionality and usability to empower end users. New features in InforSense Suite 5.1 allow users to load their own data, add their own views using VisualSense charts, customize the views and share them with other end users. InforSense Suite 5.1 now enables scientists to find services and visualization using a new portal search engine, which enables users to easily view, analyze and retrieve data. Researchers can understand and navigate through large amounts of data quickly and combine data from any source inside or outside an organization, improving sharing and collaboration.

Idera announced the latest release of its PowerShell IDE, the new PowerShell Plus v3.1. This release includes hundreds of new scripts, online access to community script libraries, support for Windows PowerShell 2.0 and an enhanced Learning Center.

Innoveer Solutions, a customer relationship management consulting firm, introduced its SFA Accelerator, a service designed to implement Oracle CRM On Demand or Salesforce.com in a four-week timeframe. The SFA Accelerator is targeted at companies looking for a single view of the sales pipeline and forecast, increased visibility into sales activities, improved sales efficiency and collaboration and a single source of customer and prospect data.

Lyzasoft introduced the latest version of its business intelligence product, Lyza. This version 2 release blends the best of business intelligence and Web 2.0 technologies, allowing analytical communities within an enterprise to synthesize data from many sources, visually analyze the data and socialize their findings among the workgroup – all via an entirely self-serve model. Lyza runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. 

Netezza Corporation announced the Netezza TwinFin i-Class appliance, a development and execution platform that allows analytical applications to be run inside the appliance and close to the data. Based on Netezza's patented data streaming technology, the Netezza TwinFin i-Class appliance executes complex analytics in parallel within the database on extremely large data sets, significantly reducing costs and eliminating errors and delays organizations currently incur moving data into specialized databases for advanced analytics.

Objectivity, Inc. announced the newest release of its high performance platform and enabling technology, Objectivity/DB Release 10. This release offers new features for the Microsoft C# .NET and Java developer communities, continued support for Python and Smalltalk programmers, as well as administrative tools enhancing ease of operation and deployment. Developers and administrators building and managing leading applications for the government, security and intelligence, embedded devices, complex manufacturing, commercial services, scientific and engineering markets will benefit from the enhanced Objectivity/DB feature set.

Oracle today announced Oracle SOA Governance 11g consisting of Oracle Enterprise Repository, Oracle Service Registry, SOA Management with Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Web Services Manager. Oracle SOA Governance 11g, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, enables organizations to manage their heterogeneous software project artifacts under a unified governance umbrella.

ParAccel, Inc. announced PADB version 2.5. The new release offers important enhancements advancing enterprise-class, government-grade analytics and furthers ParAccel’s capacity to simplify and accelerate highly complex, queries on large data volumes. PADB 2.5 takes analytics into virtualized operating environments.

Portrait Software announced the early availability of Portrait Dialogue 5. Formerly known as Portrait Campaign Manager, the significantly enhanced solution converts disparate campaigns and customer interactions into an engaging two-way dialogue to improve customer retention, reduce customer opt-out and increase lifetime value. The application’s new User Interface utilizes Microsoft’s Silverlight technology, which will provide marketers with rich, secure and scalable cross-platform experiences. Additional Microsoft-centric features include integration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Outlook task management and Microsoft Reporting Services.

SAP AG announced the SAP BusinessObjects BI OnDemand solution. Targeted at casual BI users currently underserved by products on the market, the solution will deliver a complete BI toolset in one flexible offering. With SAP BusinessObjects BI OnDemand, business users will be able to access and visually navigate data from any source using SAP BusinessObjects Explorer software. Even casual users can then combine that data in just a few clicks, and follow a guided path that walks them through reporting and analysis.

STORServer announced a new add-on for its Backup Appliance and existing IBM Tivoli Storage Manager solutions that enables applications and users to get back up and running within minutes following any data loss while full recovery is performed in the background. The STORServer Backup Appliance with Instant Restore is designed to protect Microsoft Windows and Linux servers in remote or branch offices or to supplement the backup solution in a data center for mission critical applications.
