Birst Inc., a Cloud BI provider, announced Birst Visualizer, a new business-oriented visual discovery capability in Birst's end-to-end cloud platform. Combining Google-like search and Amazon-like recommendations, the Birst Visualizer reduces time-to-answer for business users. The new Birst Visualizer sits on top of Birst's logical layer.
HP expanded its cloud portfolio with new solutions and services that offer enterprises greater agility, simplified management and improved security for their hybrid environments. The new offerings include HP CloudSystem, HP's flagship offering for building and managing private clouds, and HP Managed Virtual Private Cloud. HP also announced new HP ConvergedSystem and HP Converged Storage offerings that give enterprises the speed, agility and lower economics to build next-generation data centers.
Kaseya, a provider of IT systems management software, announced the general availability of the Kaseya BYOD Suite, an enterprise-class platform that securely extends multiple corporate data sources to mobile users’ smartphone and tablet devices, while ensuring personal data privacy and keeping employee data free from corporate control. The technology for the solution was purchased by Kaseya earlier in the year in its acquisition of Rover Apps.
Liaison Technologies, a global integration and data management company, announced a new version of its Contivo data transformation solution, which now includes Interface Intuition, Semantic Intuition and dynamic data sourcing. The new features in Contivo 5.5 help enterprises increase data transformation productivity and accuracy, while ensuring flexibility in data map execution.
Oracle announced its fifth-generation database machine, Oracle Exadata Database Machine X4, which features widespread improvements with a focus on improving performance and quality of service for OLTP, database consolidation, and data warehousing. This latest release delivers enhanced uptime and efficiency to help customers streamline operations and take advantage of business-critical data.
Paragon Software Group, a provider of data protection and backup and disaster recovery, announced the launch of Hard Disk Manager (HDM) 14 Professional, Business and Premium editions. HDM 14 offers image- as well as file-based backup and disaster recovery to protect data, minimize downtime, and lower data storage and management costs while ensuring business continuity through instant system recovery.
SAP AG announced the availability of the SAP InfiniteInsight solution. Based on patented automation technology from KXEN, an SAP company, the solution will provide businesses the simplicity and productivity to deploy predictive analytics across the business.
Varonis Systems, Inc., a provider of software solutions for unstructured, human-generated enterprise data, announced the general availability of DatAnywhere 1.5, adding to the functionality of a secure collaboration solution. Varonis DatAnywhere extends the usability of corporate file-sharing infrastructure to enable traditional file servers and NAS devices to behave like a cloud-based service and is available for Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, and Android clients.
WSO2 announced releases of two products: WSO2 Complex Event Processor (WSO2 CEP) 3.0 and WSO2 Business Activity Monitor (WSO2 BAM) 2.4. WSO2 CEP 3.0 and WSO2 BAM 2.4 complement database management systems. Working together, the integrated WSO2 products enable data streams to be analyzed simultaneously in real-time (with WSO2 CEP 3.0) and via batch processing (with WSO2 BAM 2.4).
